Vumatel is bad
WORST FIBRE PROVIDER EVER.
my reference from them: ***6 Since Thursday evening, 6th Feb 2025 i have been without internet. I contacted Afirhost which is my ISP, they said its not their problem and that its Vumatel problem(BTW Afrihost is just as bad). I contact Vumatel, Vumatel staff told me blatantly that they would not sort my fibre line because we live in a high risk area, which is not true.
I pay for fibre timeously monthly. My kids cannot do their homework because some of it is online. I cannot do my work because i have online meetings and need to submit online.
i also have it on recording where the Vumatel assistant tells me that they are not going to fix the fibre line.
I do not live in a dangerous area. I pay my fibre/internet on time. I reported the issue on time. Please bear in mind, that this is the same people/technicians/company who installed the fibre in the first place
Why don't you send an escort with them?
Please bear in mind, and I told your assistants this, you guys installed this without escorts, you guys worked here without escorts. No one else in my road has problems with their line only me.
I guarantee you and all your technicians safety.
I am unable to do my work and my kids are unable to do their online homework.
I am a paying customer and you guys blatantly refuse to do ANYTHING about it.
There are solutions

Please bear in mind, and I told your assistants this, you guys installed this without escorts, you guys worked here without escorts. No one else in my road has problems with their line only me.

VUMA says that they cannot see to it as they are siting security issues.
Bearing in mind that when they installed the fibre they never sited security as an issue.
i called them multiple times and guaranteed their safety. I also suggested that they send in escorts with them, their last call they said that no security company is willing to escort them(what a joke). We have various services working in our area including cleaners, electrical workers, general maintenance and ambulance services who work without security escorts. Even the ATMs get serviced with minimal to no security. Their help line assistants are of no use, very rude and abrupt(i have recordings).
My household runs on internet - TV, work, homework. I am unable to do my work and my kids are falling behind with their school work because they have online work that they need to complete.
This has been an absolute mess up by VUMA from start to finish. I have given them solutions and they refuse to take them. They take my money and refuse to do what I am owed.
