Vumatel Blocked by MWEB

I have moved into a new place that has a vumatel line/CPE installed in it.. I have been trying to transfer my current VOX line into this place however, there is an issue...

The previous tenants details are still linked to this vumatel infrastructure and MWEB are refusing to cancel it due to the fact that there is a discrepancy on the previous tenants account..

I cannot understand this as they are not even staying at this place anymore and this has nothing to do with me.. now they are blocking Vumatel infrastructure and business for other fibre providers or even themselves.

Apparently these tenants owe the owner of the apartments money too so they are definitely not going to sort out their MWEB account.. so what now? I am stuck without internet for something that has nothing to do with me?

@Vumatel these guys are blocking business for you , is there nothing you can do about this?
