Vumatel apparently finds activating a fibre line incredibly challenging

I app**** for the fibre line in my home to be activated on March 2, and I made it clear that it was already installed. And even if I hadn't, I provided the physical address of the fibre line, which Vumatel can then use to verify whether this is fibre installed, surely?

The next week I was contacted by a Vumatel subcontractor, Britelink, to install fibre in my house. Which, as I've said, is unnecessary. I contacted Vumatel directly on March 12 to find out what was going on. I provided them with the number on the already installed fibre infrastructure, and was told the matter would be escalated. The next day (March 13), Britelink contacted me again to tell me that there is fibre in my house. (Yes, I already knew that, thanks.) A representative from Britelink then emails several Vumatel staff members (and copied me in on the email) to tell them to deal with my request. It is now March 16, and I have has no contact from Vumatel - no reply to the emails, and no effort to contact me.

I am currently on hold with Vumatel to try and find out why something as simple as activating a fibre line is so incredibly difficult for a company that provides fibre connections. Vumatel should be completely embarrassed that not only have I had to harass them about this, but SO HAS THEIR OWN CONTRACTOR. -_-

And that is the third time it has been escalated, with zero resolution as yet.

Okay seriously, I cannot actually believe how mindbogglingly *********** Vuamtel is. Someone from Britelink just called me to say they're at my house and I must let them in because I logged a complaint saying I can't get onto the internet. NO! The line needs to be configured in the first place! The Britelink rep then asked me for the FSAN number, which I have supp**** to both Vumatel and Britelink NUMEROUS times. And then she told me my ticket is "new", so why am I complaining. How on earth does Vumatel runs this business? And I still have not received a single reply to my third email (+ two from Britelink) sent to the following people about this problem. Not a single person has even bothered to acknowledge my email. Seriously, Vumatel. ********** cc: ********** ********** Gratitude Matseseni **********
