Vumatel and Mweb can't get their act together

For anyone thinking of taking up a contract with MWeb and Vumatel for Fibre - DON'T DO IT!! I have never experienced such complete disregard for customers in my life. When you have a problem with the line (which is 50% of the time), they spend at least an hour with you (on your mobile cost) to run all sorts of tests to make sure it is not Mweb's fault - YOU NEED TO DO THIS EVERY TIME THERE IS A FAULT?!?!?!? . Then only do they log a call with Vumatel. Then you wait for up to 7 days for Vumatel to send you an sms to say the query has been resolved - which it hasn't. Then you call Mweb and they tell you that instructions from Vumatel was to run 3 speed tests. But the query was resolved so no-one calls you to tell you that. Then Mweb tells why it's not their fault. You want to run the speed test but can't because your internet has been off for the last 2 days... And you're trying to run a business from home... I wish I stuck to my previous connection... Your customer service is a complete JOKE!

Please don't bother. She just called to ask me for a ticket reference number. I told her to get it from Mweb as I don't have the time or inclination to be sorting out the communication breakdown between Mweb or Vuma. Get it - she asked me for a ticket number - which I dont have because VUMA sends this to MWEB?!?!?!?!?! You can sort that out yourselves...

Good day Bonita

The reason why we called to ask for your ticket number was so that we can check why it it was closed. The issue with your line is speed issues and for that you need to speak to MWEB, we install the infrastructure but the speed is regulated by your ISP.

Kind regards
