Vumatel and Afrihost: Worst Fibre providers

Pathetic Fibre provider. Have previously had Fibre installed in my unit for many years. When I moved in there was no internet connection and they said that the cables high up on the exterior wall were damaged. I was made to pay R1350 upfront. A technician came out. He arrived late and did only half the job so I still did not have internet connection. He said another technician would have to come out and complete the rest of the work. I was not told this when the arrangement was initially made. Days went by and nobody contacted me from the company. When I called again they said they would try to resolve the issue. A technician by the name of Jerome made an appointment with me to fix it at a specified time. I left work and arrived at home only for the technician to not pitch up or let me know that he is not coming. Vumatel assumes everybody sits at home and does not have jobs that require them to go out and work. It's three weeks in and I still do not have internet. Afrihost has billed me over R800 for the month even though I do not have an active internet line. Iv sat for hours wasting my time with useless consultants and still no internet.
