Unsatisfactory customer service by Vumatel

On Saturday the 18th of June 2022 and Friday the 1st of July 2022 respectively, I have app**** to have fibre installed at my house. I was informed the process might take up to 3 days. However, upon following up on the installation I was shockingly informed that my property has vumatel fibre installed and the are unsure who installed it. I then send emails to Britelink, vumatel and SADV on more than three occasions but I keep getting no response from them. When I called SADV more than 8 times already I am being informed that my matter requires the most senior personnel from vumatel for which to date I am kept in the dark. This is despite the fact that I have made an upfront payment for which I was told by vumatel that they can't find any of my proof of payment for installation order. Apart from my efforts to call, email and communicate with vumatel on other social media platforms, I still can not get any assistance with installing fibre to my property.

Good afternoon,
But honestly speaking, this isn't the first time I learn of such a response. And no one even bothers to just call nor update me for almost a month now I hear of the same response. This is indeed frustrating guys.

Good morning
Once more this goes to demonstrate the blatant level of disrespect and unprofessionalism. I mean how come would someone lie about calling me. I have never received any call from installation team but from Vumatel lady with 087... asking me if anyone from the installation team came to install fibre at my property. The answer is still NO. I have never been contacted by your Installation Team.

Good afternoon. Thanks for the follow up. Unfortunately not as I have anticipated. What happened is that I had to reapply online via Webafrica on Wednesday the 13th of July 2022, as one of the other service providers to your institution as no one was responding to all my quiries promtly. And indeed they did manage to assist with installation and activate the services within 3 days. Meaning the initial application as app**** for both on Saturday the 18th of June 2022 and that of Friday the 1st of July 2022, were never attended to. Meaning I have lost all the monies paid upfront on those two instances as none of them were ever attended to my satisfaction.

Good evening, my humblest apologies for the late reply. NO. I had to migrate my application away from SADV as a service provider as I have picked up that they were the ones messing up my application processes to Webafrica. Then my application with Webafrica was handled with such utmost professionalism and efficiency. This is even despite the fact that I have lost R135-00 during the process of applying via SADV and no one is even uttering a word about my refund. But I guess it's one of those things we consumers have to contend with. But thanks for the follow up. Appreciated.
