Too long to install a fibre connection

I dont understand why it takes 4 to 6 weeks to install fibre in the south suburbs of Johannesburg. I have done so successfully within 2 days in the East with other service providers sure the units were fibre ready but I feel 4-6 weeks is unreasonable time to wait. Contemplating canceling the application. Is anyone able to recommend service providers in Mondeor with a quicker turnaround.
