Terrible after sales service

Vumatel recently installed Fibre at my house.

On Thursday, 23 Feb, 2017, my service provider, WebAfrica, installed a router, and activated my 20MB uncapped package but the line hasn't been working. After countless calls to Vumatel to rectify the problem, the only thing they do is insists I don't have a service provider.

Last night (24th Feb) I spoke to Gloria Hoffman at Vumatel. She insited that I needed to plugin my laptop to the router and activated my service with my SP. I told her that I already had a package and surely it would activate a second. She said it won't create a duplicate.

On the 25th Feb, 2017, I went out to buy a USB to Ethernet adapter at a cost of R500 (my laptop doesn't have an ethernet port), and did what Gloria asked me to do. Now I have two of the exact same packages with WebAfrica, and I'm stuck with a R500 ethernet to USB cable that I don't need. I'm really dissapointed with Vumatel, please train up your staff on how to deal with technical problems and if they don't know the solutions, rather speak to a manager.

Today, 26th Feb, I received an SMS saying the issue is resolved, I don't know how it can be resolved if the line is still not active!

Now I'm still sitting with no connection and waiting for Vumatel to get back to me!!!

Thanks for rectifying the problem, much appreciated. In the end, the issue was on WebAfrica's side.
I'm still stuck with the R500 USB to Ethernet adapter though.
