Shoddiest Service

Vumatel runs the monopoly in my area, they installed their boxes on our properties and then forced us to make use of their services. If I'm not being passed from pillar to post, the workers do not show up or when they do, they say it's their lunch break and disappear.

Since then, 2016, I've had a week per month of no access to the internet which I still continue to pay my monthly fees to Afrihost. Earlier this year, one of their technicians broke a piece of my furniture.

This past Friday, I informed them that their box was not working. I was ignored until this morning. Nadia Solomon then tells me that she can't be of assistance as I do not have a ticket, I inform her that I was not sent a ticket and she tells me to call their call centre to get one - she doesn't even offer to assist.

I then contact Craig Perriera and Gratitude Matseseni who initially were happy to help me at the times that I gave them, now both are ignoring me.

I've missed a big deadline for a major contract which is online-based.

All Vumatel can tell me is that I now need a ticket and they cannot be of assistance because I do not have one.

I will be sure to send my Afrihost bill as now the total number of days I have spent without access to the internet thanks to Vumatel is now well over 30 and it's only right that Vumatel does pay for either the airitme and data I have spent trying to contact them OR my Afrihost bill.

That's the standard message you give, provides no resolution to my issue whatsoever. FYI, techs arrived at 3.10pm according to security, when I had contacted both Gratitude and Craig to let them know that I was only available to let them on the property between 12pm and 2pm.
