SHOCKING Vuma Customer Service

On the late hours of Friday eveing, the 11th of May 2018, my Fibre Line/ FX light became unstable, thus droping connection and disconnecting entirely. We have been without connection since then, with a total added cost of around R5000 on data purchased for external wifi devices.

At first, were told that it would take up to 3 hours to check what the issue may be. Then the next person to assist stated it would take 1-3 working days to resolve? Kindly explain how this is customer service when you as a client have to wait 3 working days for a technician to check and repair the faulty line?

Can you claim for a refund on the added data purchased? More than likely a massive NO!

We are yet to see or witness any such customer service. The communication has been lackluster, to say the least, so much that we have had to make constant calls back and forth to both Vox and Vuma to sort this issue out.

The most assistance we have received were SMS's apologising for the inconvenience caused. Thanks! Much appreciated!

Vuma's and Vox Telecoms service is shocking! This is clearly something they need to tackle head-on, as the issues like these, seem to be of little concern to both parties, as it takes 72 hours for "one of very few" technicians to arrive on site just check the issue. An issue that takes around +- 30mins to fix, takes them 72 hours to dispatch a technician!
