SHOCKING SERVICE VUMATEL AND WEBAFRICA

On 10 Dec our internet was disconnected. Upon contacting Webafrica we discovered that Vumatel had cancelled the service for some unknown reason and subsequently the excuse was Vumatel had a system fault. Webafrica undertook to resolve it immediately. On 17 Dec, eight days later, Webafrica requested the serial number at the back of the ONT fibre box. In the process of removing the fibre box from the wall to get to the serial number, the fibreoptic cable snapped, adding insult to injury. We reported this as well and was told a technician will be sent out shortly to attend to the problem. Then a call from Webafrica to inform us that a new service can only be installed on 13 Jan 2022. I told them I did not order a new service. We have an existing service, have had it for over a year already. Repeated the story for the hundredth time and pleaded to be reconnected as the cost of data have now run into double what I normally pay for internet. Fast forward 10 days later, numerous phone calls that are dropped in your ear, numerous WhatsApp messages that are ignored, numerous emails that are returned with the message that the mailbox is not active, etcetera, etcetera. Constant efforts, several times a day, for 10 days solid, to get a response. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Now being blatantly ignored, basically given the finger. All I have is a reference number: ISP-623529, which seems to convey the message that I was given a reference number, I must be satisfied with that and wait my turn. Disgusting, Webafrica and Vumatel, unacceptable and shocking. But I bet there will be no problem to debit my account like clockwork for a non-existent service.
