Service issue

Hi,

My name is Ian Nel,

Recently I have been approached by a Vumatel agent that wished to install fibre in my area and wanted to sign a deal.

I accepted and continued to wait for my install, the sale went smooth and the user was friendly and could answer all my questions.

---But---

Vumatel will not and cannot deliver, they lack the common etiquette to respond to your call or email.

I logged this call 2 months ago and the install in my area and estate was done on the 23rd of June already and signed off, even so that a builder and splicer came bragging to me with a text on their phone stating they are live, only because I was hammering them for information(Just proving there is no communication here even between themselves)… we are at the 12th of June at this time, more than the delivery time I was promised, even speaking to a Bianca which is a so called “team lead” telling me that I am on the priority list and I will be the first install has done nothing.

I have spent more money on buying data this month than Vumatel has seconds in a day.

I am saying this as a man of the many users logging the same issue as I am, I miss the old Telkom days when you had to struggle with dial up, at least then I would still be able to receive a simple spam email from a Nigerian price, at least he would be able to make contact and take the time to write me… - Service is ridiculous, customer care is absurd.

No SLA has been met

No agreed or promises have been kept

No Contract was dealt with as per the terms and conditions.

No one has contacted me

They are quick to make your sale and take your R1700, but cannot spend R5 to buy Cell C half Tiger airtime to phone you or even send you a please call me so that you should phone them.

I am honestly tired of this wait and not knowing what is what..

Worst of all, is below = Sending me a **** email stating that they have forwarded this onto install… this mailbox does not exist, this as you can see(Look at the I) is just typed in for a joke.

Those of us who are clever enough that actually works in IT for the last several years can spot a **** easily. Well done Vuma Well Done (Slow Clap) for you amusing joke..

What do I want?

I want a simple call from Vuma telling me that they will be at my house in a day, a week, a month… I don’t care how long, just give me a time frame

Good day

We've forwarded the email to **********

Regards,

The VUMA Team
**********
086 100 VUMA
