Repairing drive ways from fiber trench digging

October 2016 Vumatel came to my area to roll out there fiber installation. As the cables had to be laid up to each house there was a lot of digging, which is understandable. I live on a secluded road where the road ends up at my gate. To get my next door neighbor Vumatel had to dig right across the road right in front of my gate. Again its understandable to roll out their service. Upon completing their installation in my area they packed up shop and left. In their leaving they never retarred my road and previously had only half filled the trench across the road.

I followed up in December to ask when they were going to come repair my road from their digging, I received a reply saying the issue is being dealt with.

I followed up again in January 2017, asking why nothing has been done yet when it has been 3 months. I got the same message they are sttending my issue and it should be resolved soon.

2 months later I follow up again and ask why there is still a trench across the road outside my gate. The response I receive is that they will only come fix the road when they receive enough requests for my area. I responded to this answer and since then have not received a response. it is now May 2017 and the trench was dug back in October 2016. I have had a trench across my road for over 6 months now, which is over half a year. The level of service and turnaround is disgusting, even the responses and customer service I received was very below par.

I cant get a reponse out of Vumatel and I am almost at the point of instituting legal action with them as they clearly do not care about any damage they leave behind after they have mutilated a suburb installing their network.
