Pathetic Customer Service Experience
My name is Treveno Chutherpal. I reside in Durban withing the Chatsworth suburb area Crossmoor. On 04/02/2022, I had the fibre installation done to my premises, and since then, have been having hassles as I AM NOT YET CONNECTED. First I was told that there is not power to the box on the outside. The guys came in and resolved that issue. I tried contacted the installer and he cancelled my calls. I contacted Britlink call centre on the 07/02/2022 and this has got to be the the worst call centre ever. I started at number 1 in the queue with a waiting time of 3 minutes which then jumped to 5 minutes and then to number 3 and then 5 and the 8 minute waiting time which actually went on for 200 of my free minutes until my airtime finished. I then loaded R150,00 airtime and the same process until again I ran out of airtime. It is now 11 days since installation and I am not yet connected. This company expects me to be present when it suits them and not when I was available on the 07-08/02/2022 and again on the 14/02/2022. As Vumalink and Webafrica, the service provider, this is very poor customer service. to me a the customer. I have paid pro rata on the 29 January 2022. The aftersales and option to contact this company BRITELINK is very very very bad. I am truly very disappointed at the level of service that I have experience thus far, except for a very kind lady from Johanesburgh Britelink named Yolanda who called me back yesterday when my airtime again ran out and then transferred me to the Durban branch. I live in a complex and as the neighbours saw the intallers and then the next set of people coming to connect the power days later and a week after which was yesterday to connect me, I was asked what was happening and why so many triips to connect me and I was honest to them about the pathetic service I have received just to get what I have already paid for. I will not recommend them to anyone in or out of my area due to my bad experience..
