NON EXISTANT PROMISES

I have been keeping an eye on the fibre situation in our complex for a while now. Previously I have been told that we have Vumatel there already however it is not live yet. I confirmed this on the website. When I did my usual check up, I saw that my complex and unit is now listed, I could even go through and do an order.

Quite excited that I would no longer need to run my business on a shoddy wireless connection, I chose an ISP and ordered a 200MB line, which is nothing to sneeze at for a residential account. After much heartache and headache ( and having to dissapoint one of my neighbours who went with the same ISP as me, with the SAME package ) we have now been told that even if the premises is listed on the website, it may still not be live. COME ON. The complex has been struggling to get fibre for the past 3 YEARS. We are the last complex in the area that still do not have access to fibre, despite the infrastructure seemingly being there already.

You should not be offering clients deals if you cannot deliver on your promises, unless you tell the customer upfront that it might take another couple of years for you guys to start delivering.
