No refund when Internet Services are down

Vumatel refuses to provide credit for when their fibre infrastructure is down! @vumatel #fibre 2 days No Internet Service and you refuse to give credit for the time your service wasn't available? Telkom has poblems, but they at least refund their customers if they didnt provide a service!! Think i should switch bac**** Best effort service??? Telkom is also! Please refund me for the 2 days that I had no internet service.

Hi Vumatel Yes, thank you a vumatel has confirmed telephonically that the service has been restored. However when I enquired about the credit to be done for 2 days downtime, the vumatel representative said i should pursue this with the ISP Evonet, as vumatel doesnt give the refund. Evonet then responded twice, with the response from Vumatel stating that Vumatel is a best effort service but cannot refund for downtime experienced by its customers... If you provide an email address the same can be sent for your perusal. Regards

Hi Bennie
Vumatel does not bill you which is why we are unable to refund you. Your billing relationship is with your ISP so should you desire a refund, you should ask them if they are able to assist.
