No installation

I live in a complex where Vumatel installed fibre, the line only needs to be brought into my unit. I ordered fibre through Afrihost, where they told me that Vumatel will arrange to come and install the fibre line within a week. I waited a week and heard nothing from Vumatel. I followed up with Vumatel, only for them to call me and say that they are backlogged and will only do installations from end of October. I then look on their Twitter feed and they told someone else that they will only start installing from the end of November?? Why are they telling people different things?

Not only is it ridiculous to wait this long for a simple installation, but it's something they should have notified me of beforehand! I would not have ordered the fibre if I knew I had to wait this long. I now have no internet for what looks to be TWO MONTHS.
