No fibre during loadshedding
I just might as well go back to my old Telkom LTE again. No incentive of having fibre anymore. If the power goes off for loadshedding, so does the fibre, everytime. It is not the ISP as everyone in our area (Allen Grove) complains. We never get speed increases anymore and the price also doesn't come down. Absolutely no incentive for having fibre anymore. And we also never get explanations as to why it is off. Not happy at all. This happens with every loadshedding these days but sometime also when it's not loadshedding.

06 Nov 2023, 10:44Good day Vernon Teixeira
Thank you for getting in touch.
We are sorry you feel this way. Fibre does not switch off when load-shedding, should you have no connectivity, please contact your ISP (internet service provider) to assist with troubleshooting and if the issue is fibre related a ticket will be logged.
Please note costs to the end-user and speed increases, are set by the ISP (internet service provider). We are an FNO (Fibre Network Owner), and our primary role is to provide and maintain the fibre infrastructure.
Kind regards

06 Nov 2023, 11:37As I mention, it is not ISP related as everyone in our area with different ISPs are having problems. Also, I did mention that it does not only happen when loadshedding but also in between, but everytime when there is loadshedding, then it is down.
