Line Activation Failed - They dont care, no follow ups.

This is starting off as a toxic relationship, this company is obviously taking advantage that they are the only ones that provide coverage in an area so they just dont care about customer service. If you want fibre, you simple have no choice you have to deal with them no matter which ISP you go to. Its abusive and a racket. Im honestly tire of the back and forth of Metrofibre blaming Vuma and vice-versa. Can I please just get the line activated and the router delivered. The communication after you sign the contract is nonexistent, you are faced with endless emails with no one caring to understand the issue nor tasking themselves with solving it, where is the pride in work and customer satisfaction. You are lucky if you get through their call line. I never thought I would ever create a Hellopeter account but thats how helpless you get dealing with these people.

The ONT box is installed and I can access the internet using a cable to the box, so the line works. I have been told that on your side, it says "activation failed", yes its probably that you are trying during loadshedding, I dont know and frankly I dont care at this point. Metrofibre cant move forward with my service until you guys 'activate' the line and notify them. Figure it out and lets wrap this up so I can get my router and get the full service I subscribed to. This is not a huge request, this is literally the bare minimum.

And I'm going to need a full answer from Vumatel and Metrofibre separately as to why I have to be the one mediating this. What would happen if I had not initiated, do none of you follow up on an installation and make sure a client is served just the bare minimum. Line Ordered -> Installation -> Activation -> Router Delivered & Setup -> Client has internet -> Check up with client. How is that difficult? Are your consultants working from home and just disinterested, attending to work in between netflix?

To anyone reading, if you have a choice just stay away from Vumatel, its impossible to get help and if they do respond you get *********** help, you would think you are describing your issue to someone who doesn't even work there. Never in my 30+ years of life have I experience such bad service. At this point you would rather just get a LTE line with anyone else than get fibre.

They have just stopped attending to my query on this platform, forcing me to go to twitter, email, call centre, instagram. Tomorrow I'm just going to their offices.
