Lack of service delivery

Like many South Africans, we live in an area that has bad internet service through Telkom's copper landlines. When someone heard about Vumatel's \fibrehoods""; it appears that we are ineligible for fibre internet access because we don't live in the northern or central areas of Johannesburg. Based on the last revisions of the municipal rates in our area; we live in an area where average property values are well into the 7 figure range and the surrounding suburbs have much higher valuations. Despite the fact that our property values compete with some of the areas that Vumatel has listed as potential fibrehoods;we don't get service. Is this because we live on the \""wrong\"" side of town - in the much maligned Southern areas?"""
