Installation

The service if we can call it that is non-existent. They schedule an install with a clause "If you are not available at the time or for the duration of the installation without notifying us within 48 hours in advance, a 'No Show' cancellation fee of R800 (excl.VAT) will apply as per our Terms and Conditions." But they don't pitch and there is no reciprocal agreement in place for this. I had an install set for 30 Jan for 8.30 nobody pitched up at all (Technicians were not assigned for this install) even though it was prearranged. Try getting hold of someone in the install division to talk to!!! I made 5 calls to try and get answers. Nobody calls back to provide feedback, only customer experience to apologise for the bad service. Eventually the team arrives at 12.30 only to discover that they dont have the correct accessories for install. No site survey was done!!! prior to the install team pitching up. Install then gets rescheduled for 31 Jan 11.30, nobody arrives at 11.30. 4 calls later and still nobody answering the Install option on the IVR I get through to normal support - team is running late. Nobody phones before hand to notify you what is happening. The onus is on you as the customer to try and find out. Now that's what I call, customer service!! Needless to say I have cancelled the service from them. I know in the bigger scheme of their business it does not mean much to them, but I would hate to sign up and then have this type of experience once committed as a client.
