Inefficiency, promises, promises, promises and no action??

My Fibre contract was accepted by Vumatel/Vodacom and since then nothing has happened. I had various telephone and email conversations with Tabiso from Vodacom and first hit was said that fibre in our area "Ontdekkers park is not live. I have sent my neighbors invoice for December to prove to them that the fibre was active and live. A new sales team arrived at my house to sign a new contract but R100.00 cheaper and same benefits as previous. Still nothing happened no communication of any sort nothing until I started with an email campaign to wake them up. more promises that can not be fulfilled. Then the excuse was a backlog really!!! I then threatened to go the way of Hello Peter and again i was contacted by Thabiso trying to explain that there is a backlog but when I said since November he started stuttering and could not give a clear and direct answer. On Friday afternoon 16/03/2018 at about 14:30 Thabiso contacted me again to stall me from going to Hello Peter and said that Vunatel has escalated my installation to the top and someone will contact me early next week to start the installation. My first question to Thabiso was are these conversations recorded because next week he will have to listen to these recordings and I again said do not underestimate my intelligence! it is Thursday 12:35 and still no contact by which ever medium. I have not seen such inefficiency in my live. Maybe this gives new meaning to working on Africa times??? Is there somebody that can contact me and explain what the hold up is. As per our telephone conversation on 16 March 2018 at 14:30 I said to you that you must not underestimate my intelligence when you said that Vumatel had a backlog and will move my installation to early next week.

Your answer was that this is what Vumatel said to you. I asked you if you really but really believe this story. Your answer was that they will phone me early next week and it is already Thursday and no mail or phone call. It seems that you guys only like a paper war and no commitment or action.

I am sure that you know what my next step will be?

As per our telephonic discussion Vumatel has stated that they had a backlog of orders in your area and were having been working through the installations in batches of which your order was in one of their batches, and they will move your order forward to schedule your installation for early next week.

This is the last straw!

My patience has run to its end. Can someone please contact me by close of business today and explain what is happening. I see your mails being read and instruction issued to attend to this matter urgently but nobody has the guts to contact me and explain what is happening with the installation. If no responds is received by 16:30 today then tomorrow morning at the start of my shift I will forward all these email to Hello Peter. Do not be alarmed I will cc all of you in said email so it will not come as a surprise.

If you feel that I am threating you yes I am because for 5 months it is only promises and no actual feedback that I received.

It seems you guys are all talk and no action.

Please let me know what is happening or not happening with this installation, as I am saving all your mails and will sent to Hello Peter. I feel that I am being shunt around from pillar to post since 20 November and nobody can give a definite answer and the consumer must be kept in the dark.

Please explain what is really happening as all my neighbours are enjoying fibre and the benefits that come with it while I am kept in the dark!

During November the overhead fibre cables were installed and your sales person came passed to write up subscribers. The 20th of November I received confirmation that my application was accepted and installation will follow. Christmas and New Year came and gone and stil no Installation until I stared making inquiries. The answer that I received was that the fibre was not live as yet. I followed up with a mail that all my neighbours is active, it is not me that has not been activated. Again the answer was it is impossible as the fibre is not live as yet. The next day I mailed a copy of my neighbour’s invoice that he received for the month that he is live to proof that Fibre is live. The next day we had to sign a new contract with the same benefits but luckily R100.00 Cheaper. Again had to send proof of residents and 3 months bank statements with a promise that it should take about a week because we are waiting so long. As per the mails below it looks that I am again being shunted to the side and forgotten, mails I sent does not even being answered. If there I no responds or action after this mail I have no alternative but to contact Hello Peter to try and solve this problem.
