I JUST NEED MY INTERNET SERVICE
I app**** to change my payment method from EasyPay to Debit Order. This should be a straightforward, no-nonsense process. The agent who had initially assisted me with the sale informed me that I should call her 3 days before the due date. The due date is the 12th and so I called her on the 9th. She did the change process and sent through a link for me to make payment, which I immediately did.
On the 11th I received an sms of a payment reminder (even though payment was already made 2 days prior) Then on the 12th my service was disconnected. I have battled since Sunday to get my service restored and have had a variety of excuses/reasons as to why it hasn't been restored. I have previously had my service restored with Fly.cool within minutes and so this is really puzzling and frustrating.
I have tried their Fly.Cool Chat service numerous times without any joy. The agents take 15 to 20 mins to respond to a single line of inquiry, and then will end a conversation without resolving the situation. I was also informed at some point by Ayanda that my area has been declared high-risk and so technicians are not coming to the area. A technician was at my house on Monday 13th, and another installed a Fly.Cool service on Tuesday the 14th may 2024.I have screenshots of the conversations for your perusal @Fly.Cool.
THESE TECHNICIANS ARE SENT OUT BY VUMATEL TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE. PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT IS THE HIGH RISK THAT IS BEING MENTIONED.
I also emailed *** and received a response that my line is with a different ISP. I have subsequently confirmed that my line is still with Fly.Cool. They suggested that my last payment was in April. I sent a screen shot of my latest payment on the 9th May 2024. No response as yet.
I have since requested that my line be cleared so that I can apply with another ISP. I was informed by Katlego on Fly.Cool Chat that I must call back tomorrow for feedback.
I work remotely online and to date I have lost 2 days of income (R2400) and as things stand it looks like I will not be working the rest of this week resulting in a loss of R6000. I need results and answers.
I just received an email from VUMATEL asking me to complete a survey for a completed Ticket Reference ***8 "which has been resolved". THIS IS NOT RESOLVED!!!
I can be contacted on ***
