Horrible Service from Vuma

I am writing this review with a strained heart. Today is day 4 without internet connection. Since Tuesday I have been unable to connect to the internet. I did not raise a call on tuesday as I thought it might have been an area fault. On wednesday evening I decided to reach out to my neighbors to ask if they were also impacted and was advised that they did not have any issues which prompted me to raise an incident (245314). On thursday morning, I received an email saying that the incident had been 'closed' but my service has not been restored. No one took it upon themselves to call me to find out if my service had been restored. I then decided to reach out to VUMA again via whatsapp because they do not have a line that one can call and speak to a physical person verbally. You have to wait for close to an hour for someone to respond. Anyway, I spoke to Phiwokuhle who advised me that I am impacted by a maintenance that is being conducted. A maintenance that no one communicated to me beforehand to allow me the opportunity to make alternative arrangements. That service would be restored today on the 13th of August. Everyone is my area is able to connect except for me and no one from Vuma cares. You cannot even speak to a Manager to escalate. Not sure what IT shop Vuma is running but there are a lot of gaps in the ITSM process. What is the BCM plan? Am I going to be given 4 days free because I have been disconnected for those days and no one has taken it upon themselves to find out what is happening with the service I am paying for???? This is a huge inconvenience and I would like some sort of compensation for the days I have been impacted.

This is totally unacceptable, I need someone to come to my house and resolve the matter because I seem to be the only person impacted by the so called maintenance which was NEVER communicated to me. The most horrible service I have ever received!!

see that's the problem right there...any maintenance should be diligently communicated to your customers so that they are aware and can make alternative arrangements. Right now you are telling me about some specified 'timeframe'...what is it? when can service be restored??? is this going to be communicated to me or do I have to come to Hellopeter to get this information as well??? This is very unprofessional and I am upset. Is someone going to call me and explain this level of detail or do I have to guess it?
