Fibre is ready, but not live. And it won't be for 4+ months

I am unbelievably ****ed. After Placing a fiber order four months ago, and being ****ed around (in truth only partially because of Vuma), I am now being told that fibre isn't LIVE in my area. Their website says it's READY, and indeed so do the salespeople who visited my house, and their customer car, AND THEIR INSTALLATION SCHEDULING DEPARTMENT. But they can't come and install fibre here, BECAUSE IT'S NOT LIVE.

Why, the, did they let me waste four months of my life chasing my tail if this is going to be the case? Why sell it to me, then? Why play with me?
