Fible to home HORROR
Worst service in South Africa. Between Vox and Vumatel there seems to be a competition on who can be the worst at their jobs. Accepting the fibre to home service from Vox 19 June 2023 I was made to believe all will be quick and without hassle. How wrong I was. After following up a bunch of times I was told by Vox that Vumatel had another line installed in my address. I then needed to prove that I live at the address and get a police affidavit. After a bunch of headaches and calling the fibre line was finally active on 18 August 2023. On 17 October the internet just stopped. After calling Vox and emailing them a bunch of times I was informed 19 October 2023 that an update was done and another address was now registered by Vumatel on my address and I was taken off. I had to again prove that I was living at this address and it could take up to 72 business hours for Vumatel to correct this. On Monday 23 October 2023 after again sending emails and calling Vox a bunch of times about what is going on and getting no response but they will look into it I had to take a days leave and physically drive to Vox in Bloemfontein to ask what is going on. I was told they will look into what's going on and get back to me as soon as possible as it is unacceptable to be without internet and I pay for the service. Everything seems to go back to Vumatel and the unwilling nature to help their customers. Still on 24 October 2023 I have no answers and no internet but will be expected to pay the full amount coming end of the month and not to even mention the expenses I made for calling, emailing, driving there and mobile data I purchased to be able to work. Absolute horrible service!
