Customer Services is appalling

i bought a house in an area with Vumatel fibre, i have been trying to get them to connect me for the last two weeks and every time i get through they tell me its being sorted. Today i call again and they tell me they still cant find my application on their system and they blame the previous house owner who didnt cancel his contract (which i have checked with him, it is cancelled).

As they are the ones who installed the fibre, i cant choose another provider.
