Constantly being let down by Vumatel
Vumatel is really doing me dirty and this whole thing is affecting my livelihood. I sent them an email a couple of days ago to let them know of my experience with them and I asked for them to assist me in coming up with solutions in order to rectify the problems. Instead of responding to my concerns, they just spoke about something which is unrelated to my issue. They just don’t care.

27 Nov 2025, 11:26I teach online and my connection hasn’t been good at all. The video and sound would glitch and pause constantly making my lessons a disaster. Before ever lesson I need to do a speed test which would register 17 mbps for downloads and 2 mbps for uploads which doesn’t meet the requirements for my company. So my question to them was what can I do to get faster and stable internet connection? Should I upgrade my Vumatel package or is there another solution to my problem?

Please contact your ISP (internet service provider) as the first point of contact when experiencing connection issues. ISPs are responsible for providing internet services to customers, and they have the necessary tools and resources to troubleshoot and resolve many common connectivity problems. When you contact your ISP about a connection issue, they will typically guide you through some troubleshooting steps to determine the nature of the problem.
If, after troubleshooting, the ISP determines that the problem lies with the fiber provider (in this case, "us"), they will log a ticket to escalate the issue to the appropriate team for further investigation and resolution. This helps ensure that the responsible party addresses the problem, as different components of the internet infrastructure may be managed by different entities. By following this process and involving your ISP as the initial point of contact, you can streamline the troubleshooting and resolution process, ultimately helping to resolve the connection issue more efficiently.
Kind regards,
