Can a human being please talk to me about what the problem is with my internet connection?

I have been offline for four days, have communicated with Afrihost on whatsapp at least three times a day, keep being asked the same questions, given ever more escalation reference numbers, and eventually referred to Vumatel for whom I can find no contact number, never mind a human being who could tell me what is going on.
