Britelink service to Vumatel Clients
I requested fibre to be installed August 2017, and then waited for feedback. I was informed that the complex I live at was not fitted yet with fibre. 4 Weeks ago I received a update that I need to be available for the installation to take place during the day. I was contacted by Britelink to finalise the appointment at 3 different times. Each time I informed the agent that phoned me that the complex was not fitted yet, and each time I was informed that it will not be a problem, and installation will take place no matter what issues there are. I had to take unpaid leave to be available for the installation on 27/02/2018.
On the day of installation 27/02/2018 britelink showed up late. I showed them where the installation needs to take place. The site was inspected and then the techs just sat in the car waiting. I was then informed the site is not feasible for installation as it is a complex and the entire complex will need to be fitted, and that they will be leaving immediately. I phoned Britelink and they informed me that they will be contacting me back shortly to discuss a way going forward and that they just need to investigate what happened. To date I have not received any feedback or a explanation or apology as to what happened.
My question to Vumatel is the following: 1. Is this how your future clients are treated? 2. How did this happen, even after I informed Britelink at 3 different times about the complex not being fitted.
I am sad to say that I have received better service with Telkom.
I need to know how we are going forward to resolve this?
