Bad service would be better than no service at all

I escalated my internet issue yesterday to Vox who are my provider. I was informed that there is no internet connectivity to my house and was advised a ticket has been logged with Vumatel and advised I would get a call in one hour, I called again today and advised this has been raised and I would get a call. It is now Friday night and still no internet.
