Bad Communication / Service

I am honestly worried about Vumatel and choosing them as a supplier of fibre to me.

I have been waiting forever for fibre to reach my neighbourhood, and when we got word in February that fibre is starting in my area , I was excited as hell,

They finished fibre in my complex and the area and confirmed this with an email on 25 May 2017. I immediately signed up with Afrihost to qualify for free installation etc. I gave it about 3 weeks before I asked Afrihost what is happening with the order, and why Vumatel has not contacted me yet. They rep**** that they are not sure what's the hold up but that it is defintely on Vumatel's side.

Gave it another 2 weeks , still nothing. Then I phoned Vumatel and asked them what is happening with my installation. I get the reply that Fibre is not live in my area, to which I am very confused, because I got an email saying it was live , and found a forum where the guy in the street next to me was enjoying his 100mb up- and download speed.

After about 20 Hrs on the phone between vumatel employees , no one could tell me what is happening and the installation team was not replying by email (which me, cell c , afrihost , and vumatel themselves have sent multiple emails)

I finally decided I have had enough of being in the dark , so last Friday (28 July`17) I decided to stop by the Vumatel HQ, sat there for about 30 mins and finally a guy called "Sheldon" came to see me in the lobby. He was apparently the area manager, so I trust his knowledge. He told me that aaaallll this time , there was a break in the fibre line just outside my complex , but that they had a team fixing it as we speak , and that the next week Vumatel would be contacting me with installation dates.

I regret to say but another week has passed , whereby I saw no vumatel employee in my area , or holes or anything of the sort. Is this a sign and warning that I must avoid and warn others to stay away from Vumatel? If their service/communication is this bad before I have actually agreed to their terms, how bad will it be if I have future fibre related problems?

My email : **********
