Avoid Vuma and Afrihost -Unreliable Substandard Support and Service

Stay away from Vumatel, 1 week on and they unable to reactivate an existing line. There has been no feedback from their development team that it has been escalated to. I have spent more time, hours and data on trying to get feedback and a resolution than I do on my entire month’s subscription. Today I’ve been told best I wait till Monday. Afrishost, the ISP, has made little effort from their side to have the situation resolved adopting and wait and see attitude. My matric children has been negatively impacted by being unable to continue work uninterrupted and the undue stress has compounded an already stressful academic time which makes me fear mental health issues. Not that Vumatel or Afrihost care about the ramifications of their substandard service levels in a time when having a reliable fiber connection it a part of our daily lives and livelihoods. Look elsewhere before signing up with Vumatel or Afrihost.
