AVOID VODACOM CONTRACTS AT ALL COSTS
After loyally paying Vodacom for the past several years, I do not appreciate the fact that you have suspended my cellular service, after having fully fulfilled my (late mothers) contractual obligations as well as visited a branch. I have submitted ALL the required documentation- death certificate, *** copies, and deceased account claim form - all certified. Yet Vodacom still cancels my number. All my banking info is linked to this number. This is also my emergency number and is a registered emergency speed dial at work. Since I'm not the account holder, I can do nothing. Even after paying premature cancellation fees- I'm still locked out. I am unable to visit a Vodacom branch while at work. I now have to cancel any future work until I have signal again. AVOID VODACOM CONTRACTS AT ALL COSTS.

Possible failing of cyber security with Vodacom?
Maybe efficiency at collecting payment should not be the main criteria for a successful service provider in South Africa! We are at the dawn of a major transition into digitation in South Africa. If you consult the AI (who is going to be managing our lives and livelihoods in South Africa going forward) the single biggest concern about digitation in South Africa Africa is totally unprepared!!!! SA ranking in terms of cyber security and cyber crimes globally is atrocious! So daily we are getting spammed and ****med and a message from Vodacom today to all account users, is particularly alarming: " ********** are sending **** rewards messages and contacting customers pretending to be Vodacom agents. If you are called or receive messages claiming you've won cash, devices or other rewards please always verify the offer by calling *** before taking any action. Do not click on suspicious links, share personal information, PINs, or OTPs or trust unsolicited calls." SO MY CHALLENGE TO YOU, VODACOM, IS HOW THE F*** ARE YOU GONNA STOP THE AMOUNT OF SPAM CALLS THAT ALL YOUR ACCOUNT HOLDERS ARE RECEIVING DAILY! Although it is impossible against the background of a South African cyber platform that is simply to compete internationally, YET OR EXPIRING MASSIVELY TO DATA CENTERS AND COMPETING ON 6G AND ROBOTS, SA IS IN ITS INFANCY, OF ALL THIS!!!! The *******ion and *****ing and ******* up budgets, have put essay BACKWARDS IN TIME IN SO MANY WAYS!!!! To know step up to 6G and total digitization…… a disaster is facing us! In the meantime, Vodacom, please stop the ******** and spamming!!!!

Nkosinthi told me the phone will be by me at 17:00 but the phone is still in another province. Then he went on and said I thrived him. All I said if the phone is not by me by 17:00 then I am threatening 2 cancel all my contacts wilh Vodacom. Now it sounds like i threaned his life. Vodavom is a bunch of ***** and dont give service. All they do is lie and yhen when they dont know what else to lie they avoid you like Babalwa. Babalwa is not supposed to be a manager because she cant manage her staff that is lieng and she dont follow up on her promisss to contqct customers back. She rather tell yhe staff to say she is in a meeting and avoid the customer. I had enough. Cancel all my contracts immediately

Harrasment
I had a contract with Vodacom A few months i decided to pay it off and asked Vodacom to close it They gave me a settlement figure, i paid it and believed it was settled I then realised that They continued debiting my account, the contract was for R899 a month but after closing account they were debiting R139 I kept reversing the debits cause the contract was closed They kept sending collection mails of which i responded to for understanding what they were trying to collect for, but they never explained Today i got a call from a company that said they are representing Vodacom with regards to my account, but we couldn't continue because they are requesting me to confirm personal details and i do not remember giving them my contact details in the first place. We ended the call and then they informed me to go to nearest Vodacom store and is unfortunate that i will never have petrol to do such I requested Vodacom for settlement quote, was given a figure. i paid. What more do you want from me?

Complaint against Vodacom: Misleading Sales Practices and Unfair Resolution
My husband was due for a contract upgrade with Vodacom. He initially made an enquiry himself but was unhappy with the offers presented, so he decided not to proceed and to wait. He was subsequently contacted by a Vodacom sales representative who offered him a contract deal, allegedly in recognition of his long-standing loyalty as a Vodacom customer. Throughout the telephone conversation, my husband repeatedly asked the representative to confirm the monthly instalment amount and the contract term. The representative confirmed these details, and my husband agreed to the deal based on those assurances. However, when the debit order date arrived, Vodacom attempted to deduct almost double the monthly amount that had been agreed upon. Upon further investigation, my husband also discovered that the contract term was longer than what had been communicated to him during the sales call. Vodacom investigated the matter and advised him that they would collect the device and cancel the contract. However, he was told that he would first have to pay the inflated debit order amount, after which Vodacom would process a refund. We were also informed that the sales representative would receive a three-week suspension. How is this an acceptable resolution? My husband is the customer who was misled. He is the one who now has to deal with the financial inconvenience, pay an amount he never agreed to, potentially wait for a refund, and ultimately be left without the device he signed up for. Meanwhile, the employee responsible for providing incorrect information faces what appears to be a very limited consequence. Vodacom is effectively expecting a loyal customer to bear the financial and practical consequences of its sales representative's conduct. Why should my husband have to pay for a mistake he did not make? We did not agree to the higher monthly instalment or the extended contract term. Had these details been communicated honestly from the beginning, he would never have accepted the offer. We expect Vodacom to take accountability for the way this contract was sold and to provide a fair resolution that does not penalise the customer for its employee's actions.
