Very very bad
I unfortunately cannot recommend Veranda House based on my personal experience. I made and paid for a booking in August 2025 and received confirmation that the booking was secured. Over the following months, I repeatedly attempted to confirm details and communicate regarding the booking, but struggled to receive responses via email, phone calls, and WhatsApp. At one stage I was informed that the booking could not be located, despite having proof of payment and confirmation emails. I resent all documentation as requested. Communication remained inconsistent thereafter. I was later promised on more than one occasion that my refund would be processed. I followed up multiple times and was again assured that payment would be made. However, no refund was received, and I was eventually informed that they do not give refunds. I also visited the property personally in an attempt to resolve the matter. Unfortunately, the matter was still not handled professionally and my concerns remained unresolved. I believe communication, transparency, and reliability are extremely important in the hospitality industry, and unfortunately my experience did not reflect this.

Complaint: Refusal to Refund and Accommodate I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with The Verander House regarding the refusal to refund me and the decision not to accommodate my booking based on past ratings. I believe this action is unfair and unprofessional, as I was not given a fair opportunity or clear explanation before the decision was made. Denying service and withholding a refund on the basis of previous ratings is discriminatory and does not reflect good customer service practice. I kindly request that this matter be reviewed urgently, with consideration given to processing my refund and handling the situation in a fair and transparent manner.
