I used UrbanConnect / Linklayer for approximately 2.5 years. During this time, the service was consistently unreliable. The Wi-Fi connection would drop daily, often for more than 2 to 3 hours at a time, leaving me without internet access when I needed it most. Despite raising these concerns, the issue persisted throughout the duration of my usage..

When I submitted a cancellation request and attempted to reverse it on the same day, I was quoted R1500, a figure that appears arbitrary and entirely unreasonable. This response reinforced my view that the company is not serious about retaining customers or operating in a fair, business-minded manner.

I would not recommend UrbanConnect / Linklayer to anyone seeking stable, professional internet service.
