TT-not-connected

Spent almost a month trying to get reconnected after their GPON upgrade. They send a mail saying in 10 days internet will be off, please book for a time for upgrade and 3 days later internet is off. Called and found it impossible to get a booking, no one at head office was able to confirm my time. Called every day, multiple times a day to try for almost 3 weeks. When I did eventually get a booking, they missed the allotted time (I work full-time, and live alone, so I needed to take off to be there to receive the technician who never showed) and then when I asked about it, was told they have a door knock policy, so I must have missed the technician when they came and that's on me. In today's age, how is that even a functional model? Eventually, I got reconnected and the speed is better than ever, but still, I was charged for a product I couldn't use/had no access to, then told it was my fault by this company. Really ****ty service, really dumb company policies. Oh, and if you ask for contact details for a manager, they tell you it's against company policy to give those away. Yes, when you have an issue and try to escalate the issue, in a reasonable and logical way, you get told it's against company policy to do so. For a company with connect in the name, they seem awfully disconnected to their customers. Please don't contact me again about this company or to review them, it won't be positive, nor do I want to give any more energy to this debacle.
