TT Connect, Useless Fibre Provider

I stay in Thornhill estate, Modderfontein and signed up with Fredd Fibre (TTConnects little brother) with a 50MB/s fibre line about a year ago. For the first few months things seemed good, but that all stopped around 4 months ago when we had constant disruptions (no internet on weekends, holidays and most evenings). After months of fighting I decided to try and move to Afrihost. I cancelled my account, paid the installation fee and was meant to be migrated at the end of June. 2 weeks later and my account has not been migrated successfully and it is impossible to get through by phone, and they don’t respond to emails either **********

Despite getting a call from TTConnect to say that my “ONT” device has been configured and I should be able to (eventually) get onto Afrihost’s activation page, I am not.

This has been going on for over 2 weeks now. I can’t believe these guys are still in business with all the bad reviews I’ve seen about them, but I can conclusively agree with the other reviews that both TTConnect and Fredd Fibre are the most useless provider of a service they specialize in, that I’ve ever come across. It’s a pity that even once I’m finally connected to Afrihost, I am still technically at the mercy of this useless bunch. Unfortunately they are the only option for us here at this stage. Please other Fibre providers, please get your own Fibre lines here into Thornhill, it will be such easy pickings and I’ll guarantee you will get 90-100% of the lines in my area from these guys.
