Loadshedding / Area Outage again....

I would like to know WHY there is no sufficient power / battery back up on place to deal with load shedding? This is not a new thing. Our area in Dowerglen seems to survive 2 hours but any longer than that and its an outage? With the amount of stage 4 - 6 loadshedding current active, there should be better backup systems in place. Most people nowdays rely heavily on internet / fibre. Why do we still pay full rates when we are offline during this time. Maybe pro-rata the monthly fees for the times you are actually online..

Good Morning

Trust you are well.

Our current runtime due to the excessive load shedding is 2 hours as our batteries are not getting sufficient time to recharge. It used to be 6 hours.

Please note that we are proactively out in the field already, we have electricians visiting all of our
Pops and will be upgrading our equipment to prolong the current runtime back to at least 6 hours again.

We do apologize for any inconvenience caused and would like you to know that our primary focus is to deliver a stable and reliable network with quality Customer support to our clients.

We are also in the process of implementing long term solutions.

Kind Regards
