TUT Graduation office Dysfunctional

Dear TUT Graduates Graduates who wish to collect their certificates are required to request them in advance. Certificates will be available within fourteen (14) calendar days after the request is made, and graduates will be notified by email once certificates are ready for collection. Only graduates who are NSFAS coded and/or have settled all outstanding fees will be eligible to request and collect their certificates. Original proof of identification is required when collecting the certificates. For requests or enquiries, please contact: 012 382 *** or by email to ***. Talk about incompetency at its best from the whole graduation office department. Paid off my outstanding fees on the 1st of June and received the above automated email. I have never received any feedback from them the worst thing is that you call the above numbers no one picks up. I can’t even print out my academic record since am still blocked. Write several email and no one bothers to answer I just wonder what the whole graduation office team wakes up to do if you can’t answer phone calls and respond to email.

Unallocated Application Payments and Lack of Feedback

I am writing as a concerned parent regarding my daughter's application to Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) for the Law Legal Support programme My daughter submitted her application on 1 April 2026 and was instructed to pay the administration/application fee. On 3 April 2026, I paid R240 as required. However, when she checked her portal, the payment was not reflected. She attached and submitted the proof of payment (POP), but the issue was not resolved. After several follow-ups and receiving no assistance, I was forced to make a second payment of R240 in May 2026. To date, the portal still has not been updated accordingly. My daughter has sent multiple emails requesting assistance and clarification, but she has received little to no response. She has even attempted to escalate the matter by contacting the Dean's office. As an unemployed parent, this situation is extremely frustrating. I have paid money that appears to have disappeared without explanation, and we still do not know the status of my daughter's application. It is unreasonable to expect applicants and parents to incur additional transport costs travelling from Vosloorus to Pretoria simply to submit proof of payment when electronic communication systems are available. I respectfully request: Immediate investigation of both payments made (R240 on 3 April 2026 and R240 in May 2026). Confirmation that the payments have been received and correctly allocated to my daughter's application. An update on the status of her application. A refund of any duplicate payment if both payments were received. Improved communication regarding this matter. I trust that TUT will treat this complaint with urgency and provide a prompt resolution.

Unprofessional Conduct by Rodney Lebelo at TUT Finance Office Block L During Registration

I visited the Finance Office at the Soshanguve South Campus of Tshwane University of Technology (Block L) to resolve an issue preventing my Master’s registration, as today was the final day of registration. I was assisted by a staff member, Rodney Lebelo. He informed me that my account had been handed over and that he needed to make a call to obtain a statement. He made the call while I was present. Afterwards, he told me to leave and return later while waiting for an email response. When I politely asked how long the process would take, he became rude and shouted at me in front of other people. This behaviour was humiliating and unprofessional, especially given the urgency of my registration deadline. I am deeply disappointed, as I was simply seeking assistance. I urgently need this matter addressed and my registration issue resolved.

APPLICATION SYSTEM IS A MESS

Application department is a mess, both over the call and online system. For 2 weeks now, I cannot upload documents. I called in and they took me step by step as to how to upload, but still, they can't see my documents on the other end. worse part, i have an option of 4 courses when i apply, but they can only see one. I call in, they tell me "maam your application is going to be rejected anyway cause you app**** for masters and you don't have a PGDip, and all the other causes you app**** for says 2025" Only after I loose it, I am told their system has an issue, referred to someone else who asked me to send my documents via email with a screenshot of what i app**** for, and i did attached my PGDip. And I was told, i should check the system later in the afternoon, all my courses will be showing. Over 24hrs now, still not showing, I call in, spoke to Jack, Jack went to speak to Tsakane, and Tsakane confidently said she has not attended to any emails, even after I was told to check the system same afternoon. Can TUT kindly please take us seriously. Next thing I will be receiving a rejection note due to outstanding documents, wherelse it was their mad system. I am also being advised to come to campus, and for what when you have an online system I don't understand. The same way they are at work, I am currently at work, now tell me when and where I should get the time to go sit at TUT the entire day!?

TUT Application still under consideration after 7 months

This is the worse experience ever. We have app**** last year 2025 received student number, ***. What was it for if people are can only process documents and not finished the application? To this day, application under consideration. So when is work done when from 2025 to now nothing has been done by our applications? You are told that they are offline yet others are registering, how? How are they getting through or at least status changed? Since we have been waiting. Now we can't register, what is going on. This is sad!
