I need help
Good day, I had an account with Blue label Telecoms and I took a year to get a cancellation letter. Then Blue label Telecoms sold the same account to Nimble and appears on my credit profile with Transunion, though I have sent a cancellation to them, so that they can update my profile. Now I cannot even dispute or ask for a phone call from transunion. My score went from 608 to 478 with days. Why? I have all the proof.

Bad service from call centre, great service through whatsapp
My profile was locked because TransUnion now enforces password expiry after a relatively short period (I believe 90 days) and has implemented a minimum 12-character password requirement. As a result, older passwords no longer work. I have no issue with enhanced security measures; my concern is with the poor service I received from the call centre agent. For some reason, the OTP did not reach my phone while I was on the call. The agent then asked me to verify my address. I provided my address, but he said it was incorrect. I then provided my previous two addresses, including the unit/house numbers and full street details for each complex. He advised that all variations I provided were incorrect and stated that I would need to submit photographs and additional documentation. Long story short, my profile was eventually unlocked through the WhatsApp support channel, which provided excellent, five-star service. Once I regained access, I reviewed the four addresses listed on my TransUnion credit report. All of them were simply slight variations of the two addresses I had provided during the call, which is unsurprising given that I know where I have lived. The differences were immaterial, such as including "ZA" in one address or abbreviating "Avenue" as "Ave". I also provided my current address, which can legitimately be described as either a street or a close, as it is labelled both ways on City of Johannesburg street signs and kerb markings. Despite this, the agent maintained that the information was incorrect. What concerns me most is that the agent stated that I was the only person who could update the addresses on my profile. This is contradicted by my credit report, which explicitly states: "Your last known addresses as supp**** by a credit/service provider when you completed their credit/service application form/s." This clearly indicates that address information can be supp**** by credit or service providers and is not exclusively updated by the consumer. TransUnion, please ensure that your call centre agents are properly trained on the information contained in your own systems and reports. The quality of service I received through the WhatsApp channel demonstrates that a much better customer experience is possible.

Multiple Data Errors on Credit Profile — Pricilla Van Dyk, ID ***
1. Nimble Group (Account ***) The two-year payment history shows a "B" (account prescribed/final closure) status for June 2026, immediately followed by "150+" (150+ days in arrears) for July and August 2026. An account cannot be legally prescribed/closed and then simultaneously reflect as severely in arrears in the following months. This is a direct contradiction in your own data. 2. *** (Account opened 13 April 2022, opening balance R200,000) Reflects "B" (prescribed) in February 2026, following 15 consecutive months of "150+" arrears. Please confirm the current status of this account and the basis on which it is being reported. 3. *** (Account opened 22 June 2022, opening balance R13,000) Same pattern — "B" (prescribed) in February 2026, following 15 consecutive months of "150+" arrears. Please confirm this account's current status. 4. Mix Telematics (Open Account without Credit Limit, opened 9 March 2023) Shows 13 months of "150+" arrears, a single "OK" month, then reverts to "NU" (not updated) with no resolution status shown, despite the account having been sold to a third party (Nimble). This account's true status is unclear and requires clarification. Given that accounts reflecting as prescribed or paid up should not simultaneously carry unresolved arrears status, I request that you: Correct or remove any account information that is factually inconsistent, inaccurate, or that you cannot substantiate with credible evidence, as required under Section 70 of the National Credit Act; and Provide me with written confirmation of what evidence was used to verify each of the above accounts, as I am entitled to under the Act. This inaccurate information has directly resulted in a credit application being declined, and my credit score dropping despite my consistent and increased payments. I require this matter resolved urgently and without delay. Should this not be resolved satisfactorily, I will escalate this matter to the National Credit Regulator and pursue any further recourse available to me under the National Credit Act.
