The simply do not care.

It’s one thing to go 5 days without wifi that you’ve paid for (which we did), but service such as that which I received from AYABONGA at TMWF technical support is the sort of thing that drives you to cancel your contract.

In my 5 days sans wifi, I probably spoke to 10 people. My sister spoke to maybe double that. Those people were nice enough. But they COULD NOT figure out why I didn’t have wifi for 5 days. I paid for a full month of wifi, but 5 WHOLE DAYS, I went with no connectivity - not getting what I paid for. Never the less, we kept calling and waiting and being escalated and technicians were gonna call back or come out and and and and. Eventually, I had the great disfortune, on top of the wifi issues, of speaking to Ayabonga. There are no words - rude, arrogant, dismissive. I fear I may have interrupted him in the middle of an intense nap, that’s how deeply he fought back against helping me. Was I emotional myself? Absolutely, because apparently this internet provider will not consider refunding me until I have spent at least 14 DAYS without wifi. That said, for such a customer facing role, Ayabonga lacks in critical empathy and communication skills.

In short: TMWF is a company that unilaterally provides internet service to the hood- where fiber dares not to go. Perhaps they give us the service that they believe we deserve.
