BEWARE!

Since posting this review, the following has occurred: • My bank has confirmed that the funds paid were utilised and cannot be reversed. • The supplier has confirmed in writing that he does not currently have funds available to refund me and that refunds depend on his obtaining new business (Again, this was paid for in July with a 15-25 working day turnaround. I am aware that some customers eventually received their poles after significant delays. My experience remains non-delivery and no refund, resulting in ongoing financial loss. This update is provided to keep the review accurate and factual.

My Experience with a R10 000 Lollipop Hoop Order

I paid R10 000 on 29 July for a custom lollipop hoop and stage base, with a promised delivery time of 20–30 working days. Over the next few months, I received continuous delays, shifting timelines, and no completed product was ever provided. Communication at times became rude, and I was told that if I posted a bad review, it would result in my order being delayed even further. I requested a refund, which was acknowledged, but I still have not received it. This review reflects my personal experience only, in the hope that it helps others make informed decisions.

Breach of Agreement – R7 000 Payment on 30 July, Non-Delivery, Misrepresentation & Financial Losses

On 30 July 2025, I paid R7 000 for the manufacture of a pole, with a written assurance that the item would be completed within 15–25 working days. This delivery timeframe was not honoured. After the deadline passed, I received repeated explanations attributing the delay to the engineer. Shortly thereafter, I was informed that the pole had been returned and “only needed to be assembled.” A few days later, I was advised that he had been hospitalised, resulting in further delays and no revised delivery date. When I requested a refund, it was not processed. During this period, I also learned that identical progress photographs were sent to multiple customers, each being told the images represented their individual product. This raises serious concerns regarding misrepresentation. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter amicably — including issuing a formal refund demand — no refund or completed product has been provided. The non-delivery has caused direct financial harm to my business, as I had scheduled client bookings that were dependent on this equipment and subsequently suffered cancellations and loss of income. A ******** case has been opened with SAPS, and the matter is now also being escalated to the National Consumer Commission for further investigation. This review is submitted to document my experience and to inform other consumers of the risks encountered.
