⚠️ WARNING: FREQUENT POWER OUTAGES

Electricity in this area can be off for 1–2 weeks at a time, making the property difficult and inconvenient to live in.

DO NOT MOVE INTO THE LEO

Please do not move here. You are bound by a lease even when you can go up to seven days without electricity, yet you are still expected to pay your full rent, Wi-Fi, water and electricity as if nothing happened. The recurring electricity problems are not properly disclosed to prospective tenants before they sign, despite apparently being an ongoing issue. And if you try to leave before the lease ends, you face a two-month-rent cancellation penalty. The entire setup leaves tenants feeling trapped and unheard. I would strongly advise anyone considering The Leo to look elsewhere before signing a lease.

WORST EXPERIENCE! YOU WILL NOT SEE THE VALUE OF YOUR MONEY!

The way they are so unprofessional, they are actively deleting the honest 1 star reviews tenants have left voicing their concerns! Severely disappointing living experience. This place is marketed as a “lifestyle” apartment building and yet we have constant powers outages that last SEVEN WHOLE DAYS! Management blames it on City Power but never tries to take proactive steps to soften the blow that the outages take on the tenants. You will spend so much more money than you budgeted every month because these outages happen monthly. There is almost 500 tenants living here therefore the small measures management takes to “help” are not enough and the complaints merely fall on deaf ears. More importantly, I’ve been told by management that cancelling my lease will cost me DOUBLE my rent PLUS utilities, therefore you’re trapped here until your lease ends. Move in here at your own discretion but I would advise against it.

Horrible living experience

I have been extremely disappointed with my experience at this apartment. The biggest issue is the electricity supply, which seems to be a problem every month. We regularly experience electricity outages that can last around 7 days or more, which is completely unacceptable for a residential property. These ongoing outages make it extremely difficult to live normally, especially when it affects cooking, charging devices, working, studying, and basic day-to-day activities. What is even more frustrating is the frequency and duration of the outages, as this is not an occasional once-off problem. For the amount residents pay in rent, we should be able to expect reliable basic services and proper communication when problems occur. Management needs to take this issue seriously and find a permanent solution rather than allowing residents to repeatedly deal with the same problem every month. They always give city power updates, not doing anything on their own to support residents.

DO NOT MOVE TO THE LEO LIFESTYLE - WASTE OF MONEY 👎🏾

When you're inquiring about staying there they will follow you around and speak so kindly to you like you're their best friend. But the moment you move in they don't care about you anymore because they've already got you trapped with their ridiculously conditioned contract. If you want to move there you must be okay with the fact that you will be going to sleep and waking up with ****roaches EVERYWHERE no matter how clean you keep your space. It doesn't matter what you do, they are in your cupboards, your bathroom, your bed. And don't even get me started on the power. There are power outages that go on for almost a week every month, if not twice a month. And the best The Leo will do is tell you that it's not their fault and they can't provide back up power because it's "too expensive" even with the ridiculous amount of rent we pay. It is NOT worth it and it is actually a waste of your money staying at The Leo.

Prolonged power outages that won't go away

Whatever you do...DON'T move to this place. The worst! Monthly POWER OUTAGES which lasts for days - management blames this on City Power..but at the same time they don't have any contingency plans of their own. Forget about the "backup generator" - If you decide to move here just know cold water will be your friend, you will learn to sit and work in the dark, you will dispose of your groceries at least once a month due to spoilage (re:monthly power outages🔋) - During viewing and signing of the lease, NO ONE will make you aware of this. I feel like I have been ****med! - If you dare try to move out....oh boy...THEY WILL USE THE LEASE AGAINST YOU 💰 🤑 💸
