There were serious electricity outages during Christmas and New Year in 2025, leaving residents without power during the holiday period.
In 2026, the electricity outages have continued to occur every month, with outages potentially lasting days or even 1–2 weeks at a time.
This is not an occasional inconvenience. If you rent here, you need to be prepared for repeated and potentially prolonged periods without electricity, affecting cooking, refrigeration, Wi-Fi, lighting and normal day-to-day living.
