Zero attempt to solve problem for over 12 months

I moved out of a residence and subsequetly called Telkom to say that I would like to cancel the line (Around Feb'15). I continued to receive emails on a monthly basis with an ever increasing overdue amount. This was followed by a phonecall by a representative from Telkom asking about the outstanding amount. I explained the situation to her and the call ended with her emailing me a detailed account of the outstanding amount. I thereafter went to a Telkom store to report a fault telling them that I had moved out of that residence and that I canceled the line and therefore cannot be held responsible for the additional amount. A couple of months later, I received another call from NICS. Also received an SMS with ***. I followed this up with them and again logged another fault with Telkom. This time it was at the Overport City branch. I did NOT receive an SMS confirming that the fault had been logged. I informed the person assisting me and she assured me that it has been logged and that someone will contact me with regards to this matter. I received no phone call. I thought that all had been sorted out. I then receive an SMS from P&P Attorneys stating that I owe the R1927.80. If it is not paid, further interest and fees will be added on. ***. I contacted them and once again explained the scenario and was told to log a fault once again.. This is geting out of hand and I cannot apply for another line because of this problem..
