Waiting for a watch that was part of my upgrade, since the 28th of August.
Upgraded on the 28th of August and still waiting for my watch that was part of my upgrade. The salesman I was dealing with isn't responding to my messages and all Telkom can tell me is that I must just wait!!! Tried calling the branch where I did the upgrade but they don't answer their calls. They claimed to have been out of stock and stock was meant to arrive by the 3rd of October. Still nothing but the promotion is still running.

Telkom Has Failed to Cancel My Contract Since 31 July 2026 – Now Handed Over to Lawyers
I am extremely disappointed with Telkom and the way my cancellation request has been handled. What should have been a straightforward cancellation has turned into months of frustration, endless follow-ups, and now legal action. On 31 July 2026, I contacted Telkom to cancel my contract and was given reference number ***. On 4 August 2026, Telkom collected the device and SIM card. I did everything required from my side and expected the contract to be cancelled. During August, I contacted Telkom to confirm whether the contract had been cancelled, only to discover that it was still active and that I was still being billed. I could not understand how I was being charged for something I had requested to cancel and had already returned. I reversed the debit order because I disputed these charges. I should not have to pay for a service I requested to cancel, especially when the device and SIM card had already been collected. Since July, I have made numerous calls, followed up repeatedly, sent the collection waybill to several representatives as proof that the device was returned, and even visited a Telkom store for assistance. Despite all these efforts, nobody has managed to resolve my issue. It is now October 2026, and my contract is still an ongoing problem. To make matters worse, the account has been handed over to lawyers, and I am now facing the possibility of damage to my credit record over a matter I have been trying to resolve for months. I contacted Telkom again yesterday, hoping that someone would finally assist me. Instead, I was told that nothing could be done because there is an ongoing case, ***, and that I must simply wait until the case has been resolved. How can Telkom expect me to accept this? I have been trying to get this resolved since 31 July. I have provided proof that the device was collected, made repeated follow-ups, and visited a store. Yet I am the one facing the consequences of a cancellation that has not been processed. Why am I being held responsible for charges when I requested cancellation and returned the device? Why must I now deal with lawyers over an issue I have repeatedly tried to resolve directly with Telkom? This entire experience has caused me unnecessary stress and frustration. I am tired of being passed from one department to another without a proper resolution. I should not have to spend months chasing Telkom to correct this situation. I am asking Telkom to take accountability and urgently: 1. Finalise my cancellation, with effect from my original cancellation request date of 31 July 2026. 2. Reverse all disputed charges billed after my cancellation request and correct my outstanding balance. 3. Investigate the legal handover and suspend collection action while the dispute is being investigated. 4. Ensure that any incorrect negative credit reporting resulting from this disputed account is corrected. 5. Provide written confirmation that the contract has been cancelled and the matter has been resolved. I have been patient, cooperative, and willing to provide all the necessary documentation. I have done my part, but Telkom has failed to resolve this matter despite my repeated attempts. I do not want another reference number or another person telling me to wait. I want accountability and a proper resolution. This has been an extremely disappointing customer experience, and I hope Telkom takes this complaint seriously and resolves it without further unnecessary delays.

I signed up for a fibre service with Telkom, but on two separate occasions, technicians were sent to the wrong
Poor Customer Service, Incorrect Fibre Installation Attempts, Unresolved SIM Card Issues and Unjustified Charges I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the level of service I have received from Telkom. The lack of urgency, accountability and proper assistance has made dealing with this company an exhausting and unacceptable experience.

Mr
My 2 years contract has come to an end in July, I have confirmed with every consultant who called me that I am not going to renew the contract they must stop it but it seems to be very hard to do so. Going to the near branches also they come with lots of stories. I find it unfair that I have to beg telkom not to deduct money as I am not longer having a contract with them. Very bad experience I had

Telkom LTE Not Working - Tower Full - Now Billed After Promised No Billing | Case: ***
I took out a Telkom LTE device in April via DSL Telecoms. From day one, my LTE has been connecting and disconnecting. I cannot work from home like this. I logged a fault and the outcome was that the tower in my area is at full capacity and cannot accommodate all users. I was told the only fix is to build a new tower with an SLA of 6 months or more. This is not my fault. I am paying for a service I am not receiving, so I requested cancellation. I specifically asked the consultant if I would be billed for the coming month and was told clearly that I will NOT be billed. I was under the impression my contract was cancelled. I requested the call recording to prove this and was told the matter will be investigated. Since then, I have received NO communication from Telkom except threatening Notice of Demand SMSs demanding payment for the same month I was told I would not pay for. My case *** was closed without me being notified and I am the one who keeps making the following ups. I did not cancel because I wanted to I cancelled because I was paying for no internet while trying to work from home. This is unfair.

Telkom Fibre Service and Failure to Deliver Router
I upgraded my Telkom fibre package on 4 July 2026 due to ongoing service issues. As part of this process, I also requested a new router. More than four months later, my internet connection is worse than ever, and despite making three calls to Telkom and visiting a Telkom store twice, I have still not received the router. The handling of this matter has been nothing short of appalling. During a call today, I was simply advised to visit a Telkom store and ask for a router, as they should be able to assist me. However, when I visited the store, I was given the number *** and instructed to contact Telkom to arrange delivery. The information provided by Telkom has been inconsistent and contradictory. On one call, I was told that the router had been dispatched according to your system. During a follow-up call approximately a month ago, I was informed that the courier had not yet collected it. Today, the representative seemed equally unconcerned, merely confirming that a request had been placed and advising me to visit a store. How is it possible that, after more than four months, multiple calls and store visits, Telkom is still unable to provide a clear answer or resolve such a basic request? The level of incompetence, lack of communication and complete disregard for customer service is remarkable. I upgraded my package in the expectation of receiving a better service, yet my experience has deteriorated even further. This is absolutely pathetic service and completely unacceptable from a telecommunications provider.

Hi Peter
Hi Peter. I've just had a worst experience with Telkom kiosk in Harrismith today. I went there to purchase data special that is currently running 7.5g day and 7.5g night worth R60. When I got there I told the consultant that I'm here to buy 7 gig data that is on special. He asked for my number and I gave him ***, only for him to purchase an LTE data that is 3g+3g. And I told him it's not what I requested, we then argued for almost an hour over that. I feel like he failed me because he should have explained how the special works rather than giving me what I did not ask for. His name is Thabang/Thuso Mokoena and apparently he's an assistant manager. Such poor managerial skills. Did not even ask any question before going ahead with the purchase just to make sure we are in the same page. Oh and this was at Harrismith Telkom (Harri lifestyle center). Left there like a complete idiot.
