You guys STILL suck

Hi

On the 14th of February our DSL line when down. We were told it was a billing related issue and then after paying extra, on the 16th of February we were told it is a fault on the line. We then logged a fault. On Friday the 17th we escalated our fault and got the escalation number 957911. We were given a commitment date of the 2nd of March 2017. On the 25th of February we received an sms informing us that a technician is busy working on our fault, and we also called 10210 to confirm so. A few hours later on the 25th of February we had determined that the line had still not been fixed. We then called 10210 to investigate the problem and we were told that the technician is aware that the problem isn't fixed and he will attend to it on the following Monday the 27th of February. On Monday the 27th of February we called 10210 in order to find out about the technicians progress, but we were told that the fault was fixed and closed on the 24th of February, however it had not been fixed and we did not get a call from anyone to confirm the status of the line. Note how it was closed on the 24th, a day before we were told the technician was working on the line. Upon being told it was closed, I promptly informed the consultant that the fault had still not yet been resolved. The escalation number of 957911 was then disposed of and my commitment date of the 2nd of March was then terminated. I was then given a new escalation number ****19110 with no new commitment date, hinting that we may wait even longer than the initially promised date of the 2nd of March. On the 27th of February I was told a technician had been assigned and will tend to my problem shortly, aware of the fact that this is a repeat escalation. However on the 28th of February I was then told that a technician had been assigned that morning. This showing a large amount of miscommunication between Telkom, your technicians, and your customers. On the 28th of February, the same day I was contacted by the escalations department that has assured me that a technician was assigned to the fault, I was also told by a consultant that we are not top priority and we have to wait in a queue for our fault to be fixed. This is unacceptable as this is a repeat escalation that had not been tended to properly in the first place, and had it been fixed properly, we would not have to be contacting you for assistance anymore. Therefore we cannot accept the fact that we are put in a waiting list for a technician to return to our fault to fix what already should have been fixed, and we demand that we get placed above all else and get our line tended to immediately.

the technician that is delaying the fault fixing process is Barry Nyathikazi ( so I have been told by the call center consultant)

what at impredict you will do:

apoligize for the inconvenience

assure me that you understand my frustration

give me another escalation number

mail the technical department and urge them to tend to us ASAP

what we all know will not work:

your apologies for the inconveniences

assurance that you understand my frustration
giving me another escalation number
mailing the technical department and urge them to tend to us ASAP

what we know will work but you refuse to do:

calling the technicians number directly and making him aware of the dilemma we face

Now on the 22 of June we are still facing problems. We have been given a new reference number 85CTK220617 for which we will probably have to wait 4 weeks again for the problem to only be temporarily resolved.

Please Contact me ASAP or tend to this immediately, this cannot go on.

Hey Monieb

"Good afternoon.

Thank you for taking my call and confirming the status of your line. This query will be closed but please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any further concerns.

Regards,
Moenieb.
Telkom Social Media Team."

The problems are continuing again, i dont want to wait another couple of weeks for someone to fix a simple problem like it took Ben 30 minutes to fix the last time he came out.
