You bunch of *****!

Fault number 120CRK090816.

Week two! Why do you guys insist on lying to you customers? I've been on the phone with your call center EVERY SINGLE DAY for an update on the cut cable outside our house. Called your escalation center on ********** and was told this fault has been escalated and a mail has been sent to "someone" who would contact me to "explain the fault" and would I "please give them a little patience for today, as there is a strike."

And I did.

I patiently waited for someone to contact me, to explain how a strike is the problem for a fault that happened a week before said strike. Patiently I waited for absolutely nothing. No update on my cellphone, no phonecall from anyone, nothing at all. After my "24hours of patience" was up, I contacted the Escalation Centre again, was on hold for over ten minutes, listening to that damned song over and over and over again, wasting my cellphone bill. gave up, contacted 10210 for an update and can you guess what? I have been told today that "there is no escalation on this fault", "who told me there was an escalation?", (ironically enough I was told it was escalated on this page too) and apparently "technicians are currently checking, and have done yesterday afternoon and first thing this morning" and some such drivel about "desynch". I found these comments particularly entertaining, considering I'm looking at the cable dangling off the pole outside my house as I speak.

Artie, who helped me on 10210 is (at the moment) a godsend (escalation ***), as he said he would try contact the quote/unquote "supposed technicians" and call me back, yet he had to ask for my cellphone number (a cellphone number I have given every single time i have contacted telkom every single day since the fault was reported). This is not just me, my three accounts, sitting in the proverbial dark... this is the entire street, the entire area. Sitting like idiots, waiting for a call that will never come.

Now, I ask you a question, a question that you need to answer completely to my satisfaction: "IF YOU HAD NO PHONE LINE, HOW WOULD YOU DO YOUR WORK?" You wouldn't, you couldn't, right? So, what the heck am I supposed to do? You would never accept this delay from me if I was paying my accounts (accounts I have paid on time, every time for over two decades), why on Earth should I accept this delay from Telkom?

Please contact me, phone me personally, on the cellphone number attached to this fault reference, and give me a decent answer. Because, heaven help anyone if I still have no update by this time tomorrow!! Better yet, give me your managers number so I can take your lying up with someone who matters.
