Yesterday Tuesday 15th March 2022 I signed a 24 month cell phone contract at the telkom store in canal walk century city. Today Wednesday 16th I returned to the same store to cancel the contract and return the cell phone. I got told the 7day cooling off period dont apply and they cant assist me. I have not touched the phone neither used it. It is in the original package. The salesperson opened it yesterday to check the contents. I did not insert my sim neither. The reason for return I realised i dont need the contract I will relook at it at a later stage. Now I am stuck with the cellphone and contract and no assistance from the store.
